Diploma · NTA Level 6 · NACTE
Diploma in Agriculture Production (DAP)
A comprehensive two-year diploma covering crop science, soil management, irrigation, agronomy, pest control and farm business management. Graduates pursue roles in agribusiness, government extension services, NGOs and private farm management.
Entry Requirements: Applicant must have one principal pass in science subjects and one subsidiary pass in Geography and must have passed at least two (2) of the following subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and Agriculture with grade “D” in the Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education and any two other subjects which is not a religious subject (Minimum qualification is two science subjects one of which must be Biology).

Diploma in Animal Health and Production (DAHP)
An advanced diploma for professional roles in veterinary support, animal health management and livestock production systems. Includes practical field training with KALTC's own livestock herds and poultry operations.
Entry Requirements: Applicant must have one passed (Biology) and one subsidiary in his or her A-Level combination. Applicant must have passed Certificate in animal health and production or Certificate in General Agriculture (NTA level 5) with GPA of not less than 2.0 from recognised college.

Certificate · NTA Level 5 · NACTE
Certificate in Agriculture Production (CAP)
A one-year certificate providing a strong foundation in crop production, soil health, irrigation and farm management. A stepping stone to the Diploma in Agriculture Production.
Entry Requirements: Applicant must have passed at least two (2) of the following subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and Agriculture with grade “D” in the Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education (Minimum qualification is two Science subjects one of which must be Biology).
Duration: 2 Year
Certificate · NTA Level 5 · NACTE
Certificate in Animal Health and Production
Focused certificate covering animal husbandry, veterinary first aid, disease prevention, reproductive management and livestock production. Graduates can proceed to the Diploma or enter the workforce directly.
Entry Requirements: Applicant must have passed at least two (2) of the following subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Mathematics and Agriculture with grade “D” in the Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education and two non religious subjects (Minimum qualification is two Science subjects one of them must be Biology).
Duration: 2 Year
NVA Certificate · VETA
National Vocational Award in Animal Husbandry
Practical, hands-on vocational award focused on animal husbandry skills for immediate employment. Covers housing, nutrition, breeding, health and market preparation for cattle, goats, pigs and poultry — with real on-farm training at KALTC.
Entry Requirements: Applicant must have ordinary level of secondary Education certificate with minimum of two pass science subjects with grade “D”.
